2. TCD 2012/2013: Common Rail Technology
The newer Deutz TCD series introduces Common Rail fuel injection (DCR). This system offers higher efficiency but is extremely sensitive to fuel contamination. A single tank of dirty diesel can destroy the high-pressure pump.
Zhenke’s Solution: We emphasize preventative maintenance. Our Deutz filter kits include the critical water separator and fine fuel filters (3 micron) needed to protect the DCR system. We also supply the FCU (Fuel Control Unit) metering valves that often cause rough idling issues.
3. Forced Induction: BorgWarner & KKK Turbos
The Deutz BF6M1013FC engine delivers exceptional torque thanks to its wastegated turbocharger system. However, in port applications where engines idle frequently (waiting for containers), “Wet Stacking” and oil seal leakage are common issues.
We supply genuine BorgWarner (Schwitzer) and KKK turbochargers. Unlike cheap aftermarket copies that use inferior journal bearings, our OEM turbos are balanced to 150,000 RPM tolerances. A failed turbo seal can lead to engine runaway—a catastrophic event where the engine burns its own oil.
When replacing a turbocharger on a SANY or Linde forklift powered by Deutz, always replace the oil feed line. Carbon buildup in the old line restricts flow, killing the new turbo bearings within hours. We include the oil line gasket kit with every turbo shipment.
